Dr. Gautam Matta was born and raised in Markham where he attending Unionville High School, followed by McMaster University for his undergraduate studies where he decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
In private practice, Dr. Matta enjoys the challenge of treating complicated orthodontic cases requiring adjunct jaw surgery, like those with cleft palate, severe overbites or dentofacial abnormalities. He loves crafting beautiful smiles and making a meaningful difference in his patients’ lives.
From Hamilton to The Big Apple, Dr. Matta is proud to call Toronto home. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, friends, and rooting for the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays! In 2014, he checked off a big item from his bucket list when he ran the New York City Marathon – and if that wasn’t crazy enough, he then swam, biked, and ran the New York City Triathlon in 2016!
